Come on, people. Clearly there is one wheel just in front of your middle toe, and the other two on either side of your heel. That way it's possible to turn by leaning forward and to the side. You wouldn't want to lean backward and to the side now would you? Of course they could be inline, but then the number 3 would be arbitrary and would more aptly be named N-wheeled socks.

But what would the shoes look like?
Would the two-wheel combo be at the front of the foot or the back of the foot? Or the side of the foot? And which side? The instep?
Oh-Oh-Oh--and would they be retractable (like the shoes with the wheels)?
K_sra, you make no sense. And I find that I really appreciate this on a Monday morning, after staying up all night.
Send me your book and I'll send you mine. ;)

These are all good responses. I am very pleased with the brain wattage available to the readers on this site.
I hear you, h+p. I didn't sleep well either. More on that later.
Welcome, quais-famous Jason! You appear to be one wild and crazy guy. Juicy! : )
I really feel instant coziness from the idea of an instep wheel. Or maybe they could be internal wheels like shiatsu massage wheels for your feet.
