Daydream
Remember these? From childhood? How they loomed and beckoned us to places we could not go. Doors and tunnels just out of sight, passageways that curved inside to great rooms and gardens. A whole world just inside that cloud. An actual castle in the sky.
I've never been inside, but I know it belongs to me.

The Le Mis song popped straight into my head.
Damn Blogger. I said the Le Mis song.
what exactly is childhood again?
Lukas, yr breaking my heart.
Dear Lukas,
Childhood is that dark, hazy smear of unhappiness that clouds the horizon behind you. It is also the glowing, flourescent, screaming sunsoaked vision of life ahead. You are now your own mother and father. Do something nice for yourself that she/he or they never did. First off, I suggest you buy yourself an ice cream cone or some other treat you were denied as a youngster. No seriously. Go do it. With sprinkles.
Yours,
