I just gave my own link a more thourogh read, and love the standard set for this tort: The court must determine whether an average member of the community upon learning of the facts alleged by plaintiff would exclaim "outrageous!" Viehweg, 732 S.W.2d at 213.
So if this average member of the community just exclaimed "terrible!", that's just not enough.

Had to look up "crimen injura": crimen injura consists in the unlawful and intentional impairment
of the dignity of another person.
Sounds similar to my favorite tort in the US court system: intentional infliction of emotional distress.
