Squirrels on Crack
In London. The article also states that crack squirrels are a "recognized phenomena in the US."I thought at first they were talking about this squirrel, but then I remembered he's anti-drugs. (See video "Drugs in your head." Not suitable for small children.)

I don't understand how a squirrel's eyes could "look bloodshot" when you don't see the whites of their eyes.
It looks like the problem's worsening. Here's a crack dealer getting young squirrels hooked. He starts off selling for peanuts, but ups the price later.
So that's why you find them sleeping in the park; they've blown the rent on crack.
