He did what he loved in the time that he had.

Frommreading the link article, he had a really interesting life.. Going from being a monk to an actor and being in the army.. wow.. he did alot.. he was great on ELR.. Always the wisecracking father.. That is how I will remember him..
He seemed to be a pretty cool guy. Don't know that, of course, but anyone who gets to be old in Hollywood probably has part of their head screwed on right.
That was very sad news. He was so talented. I'll always remember him from "Young Frankenstein".
