Lazy Day Thirst Quencher
Buy a bottle of water from the local store.
Twist off cap.
Drink.
Enjoy.
Repeat last two steps until bottle is empty.
Your drink sounds good, Sarah!
El Fid should post her lime & cherry Kool-Aid concoction, too!
Here's another one:
Wine Spritzer (obviously not original, but good all the same)
Mix wine (White Zinfandel, Merlot, Chablis, whatever you have)with some Club Soda. Amounts of each will vary depending on your own style.
Enjoy..(Hiccup)
This drink is best consumed on hot days, and tastes best when the ingredients have not full mixed together. Consume immediately after the last ingredient is poured in.
1. Start with an empty but frozen beer mug and a shot glass.
2. Fill shot glass full of root beer schnapps and place in the bottom of the beer mug.
3. Carefully fill the beer mug 3/4 full of a good tasting pilsner variety beer, while preventing the root beer schnapps from fully mixing with the beer.
4. Carefully add orange juice up to the rim of the mug.
5. Slam the drink in one effort.
6. Repeat as necessary.
Results are a smooth, semi-sweet, alcoholic refresher, which goes down very easy with little after taste.
I want to try your recipe, Joel, just to see what it looks like. Sounds like a tasty experiment.
