You shouldn't blame the popcorn if you burn it in the microwave. Also, if you've just burnt one bag, don't immediately try cooking another. Also, throw out the burnt popcorn somewhere far away from your office.
So it was YOU!!! Ha, funny thing--last Friday the fire alarm went off in our office building and everyone evacuated. Come to find out the new tenants on our floor didn't know about the super-sensitive smoke alarm and they burnt popcorn in their microwave. By the time we got back to our office the whole 10th floor reeked of burnt popcorn.
Did ou know they make cheese microwave popcorn now? Who'dda thunk it? I once saw carmel popcorn too. Sounds like a recipe for disaster in my hot little hands.
