I am a bad canine friend! I completely forgot to celebrate Brutus' eighth birthday! It was a week ago today. So, I'm not just one week late, I'm seven dog weeks late with this Birthday Wish. Argh! That's what I get for ignoring my desk calendar.
My apologies, Brutus, and many happy returns of the day to you and the dagmeister. : )
(What's the internet equivalent of a dog treat?)

Sound files of howling? Not quite the same, but dogs aren't very good at the whole Internet thing.

I tried loading up the video of SA Andrew's dogs barking, but zippy doesn't handle the type file he sent me... *sigh*
Brutus thanks you for the late, but sincere Birthday wish.
Just in case you were wandering here's what he did on his birthday:
1.Got up at 0-dark-thirty and howled and growled at some critter in the woods until daddy came down and scared the critter away.
2. Ate breakfast.
3. Played with toys.
3. Chewed up Haynes car repair manual.
4. Took dag to the beach and played around in the Chesapeake Bay
5. Got some ice cream.
6. Relaxed on the deck and ate some bugs.
7. Went to PETSMART and picked out some cool new toys, and got a hot poodle's number.
8. Called ahead for Outback Steakhouse and picked up a birthday steak for dinner.
9. Took an after dinner nap.
10. Played with toys.
11. Watched Lethal Weapon 3
12. Chased squirrels, but didn't catch any.
13. Went to bed.
Aww, every dog will have his day. : )
Interesting singing voice, brutus
After cleaning all the orange mountain dew I spewed on my monitor, righting my chair which I tipped over backwards, wiping away the tears of laughter and taking many deep breaths to control my gut from aching so hard, I have to say that's the funniest thing I've seen all year.
Brutus says he will now share his prized Scooby snacks with you.
