And Now For My Next Trick
I will now attempt to write 1,500 words in the next hour, send in my final count of 50,000 to the NaNoWriMo bean counters, pick up my token award of achievement a full day and a half ahead of schedule (well, a day and one third ahead of schedule), and then perform a little winner's dance with the fingers pointing in the air and the shimmying around the room because I will prove I am the baddest and I will have achieved my goal.
Drum roll please...

(this is too easy!)
50,095 and uploading it to the NaNo page.
Ok! Actually had 50,330 all things told. Hurrah! I am a weiner! I feel like doing the victory dance on my work desk but I will refrain, instead I will indukge in a couple of well earned neck rolls and a few shoulder stretches. My elbows ache, too.
Congratulations! I know I haven't written 50k words about anything.
Do we get to read this 50,330 words?
Just sitting here imagining how many of those words are "very".
"It was a very dark and very, very, very stormy night."
Very very very well done. I almost went for it myself this year, but baulked at the sheer commitment needed. I'm very impressed (and more than a little jealous) that you stayed the course.
Woo hoo!! Way to go, K_sra.
i knew you could do it! congrats!
I'm sensing that the butler did it. Was it the butler?
P.S. I did an actual honest-to-goodness drum roll for you last night, but you probably didn't hear it. In Cleveland Heights, no one can hear you paradiddle.
I'm impressed. How did you reach the refresh button?
tfvlazug: Blogger clearly thinks I spam.
That's odd...I did drum rolls in my dream last night...
Congrats, brave warrior...now post a link to said prose.
filxth: What's art to me is filxth to your grandmother.
CONGRATULATIONS, SARAH!
And the victory dance should really be recorded, you know. Remember I have a webcam. Oh yes I do.
So, what's the trick after your next trick? Or, um, last trick. What I'm tryint to say is is there a trick today, or is it an (almost) day?
Congratulations! So when do we get to read your book?
Yeah, I took yesterday off, World. Not for the writing burnout but because the chinese I had on tuesday revolted and kept me up all night. That'll teach me to eat a plate of fried rice and then sit still and type feverishly for four hours.
When you mentioned the Chinese revolting I thought perhaps I'd missed something big on the news.
For her next trick, Sara will hit you with a kickass new record.
"Aw, Bullwinkle...that trick never works."
Aw, Rocky, don't say that! I'm putting together a bunch of music to launch my wedding singer career! Lemme see, there's The Rose, When I Fall In Love, and The Titanic Theme Song. This is gonna rock!
Two questions:
1. Do I get to read it?
2. Am I in it?

Don't forget "You Spin Me Right Round (Like a Record)"!
Oh and "Love Stinks" by the J Geils Band. I doubt people sing that at weddings, but it might get attention.
Congrats, Sarah!
Yeah, get the victory dance on cam, Tara. Her biggest fans deserve to see that!
