No. I like playing a few sports like tennis and pingpong, but not enough to call myself an athlete. :)

2) Highest honor or award you have ever received?
Employee of the Month. It's a nice plaque.

3) What is your current favorite article of clothing and why?
My jeans. They are so comfortable, but I neglect them. I wish we had truly casual Fridays when we could wear our jeans.

Nope. Not a lot of skinny, bespectacled nerds in professional sports.

2) Highest honor or award you have ever received?

Hmm, nothing major comes to mind. Got a few academic awards in school and, oddly enough, a bronze in public speaking. Never figured out how that happened. Got a patent. Not sure if that counts, though. Oh, I once got this lovely ceramic pot for a photoshopping contest.

3) What is your current favorite article of clothing and why?

My leather jacket. It's great. The leather is soft (like buttah). It's got inside pockets for carrying gadgets and stuff.

Why did I post Friday Fun Day on Thursday? I am so confused. And so ahead of myself!

Tara and Steve, I'm talking about those Olympic-inspired moments of belief in yourself when you thought you could do anything! AND sell Wheaties, to boot! For me it was probably that ribbon twirling gymnastic thing, although I also remember feeling very empowered by the bobsled teams. For whatever reason. Also, did anyone else think those speed skaters were awesome? I loved them!

I won a spelling contest in my classroom in grade school. Does that count? The reward was a little packet of Jolly Ranchers. :D

1. No. Curling.
2. 2nd place in a Human Powered Vehicle competition in college. Our design was a tandem recumbent/standard mix. You can get more power from the standard position, but recumbant is more aerodynamic - so we put the redubant in the front for a good overall shape (similar to this). Designing the bike was a lot of fun, as was the competition.
3. My hat. But I really only wear it in the winter when it's cold and raining.
