Remembering 9/11

This is always a hard day for me as it is for many Americans and other sympathetic souls around the world. A complete list of victims can be found here. Needless and painful deaths. Both here in our country and at the US Embassy in Germany.

We remember.

Memorials held around the country and around the world. Photos here.

It's still such a strong memory.

My daughter was 9 at the time and she was so obsessed with the coverage, that I finally just turned off the TV because I wasn't sure how healthy it was for her to watch it over and over.

I remember seeing on T.V playing it over and over again.. such a horrible tragedy to watch.. somehow we couldn't pull ourselves away.. Now 7 yrs later we want to remember those victims and their families..I heard about the new tribute at Ground Zero today on CNN.. its very touching to know that NYC hasn't forgotten the heros and the families of loved ones that perished..

I watched the coverage and finally decided that I had to do something. I couldn't sit and watch all day every day.

I was living with my mom at the time and we stared at the TV in disbelief.
