Oh, it's much worse than that. It's been the same story over and over for centuries. Ever read Joseph Campbell's "The Hero with a Thousand Faces"? Luke and Harry are the standard "reluctant hero".
Even better, read Hamlet. There really are only five story lines when you get right down to it.
Eh, it all traces back to Gilgamesh. :^)
