Paula Poundstone had her own TV show at one point, and I remember thinking, "If this turns out to be an hour long, I swear I'll kill myself." It was like watching an animal being put to sleep or a ship sinking.
However, her voice work on "Home Movies" was the funniest damned thing ever. So who knew?
